Tango For Parkinson’s
The New York Times recently cited Dr. Madeleine Hackney, an associate professor at the Emory School of Medicine and professional dancer, for her research on the benefits of partner dancing for Parkinson’s patients. Come hear about her Adapted Tango program from our Older Adult Outreach Program Manager Alexandra Russell on Thursday, August 8 at 7:00pm at Chacho’s.
Alex is a certified instructor in Adapted Tango for Older Individuals and those with Movement Disorders who studied with Dr. Madeleine Hackney, a professor of neuroscience at Emory University and professional dancer.
