Every Sunday - New Dancer's Practica!
This practica is a great way to gain confidence and iron out any persistent kinks with the guidence of the Tango Mercurio teaching team. New dancers are especially welcome and encouraged to come and get used to social dancing and build up the confidence and competence for attending the DC milongas. This practica is also a great way for experienced dancers to work on their skills for a couple of hours, or for leading women/following men to do focused work on understanding the "other" role. Held every Sunday from 6-8pm at Sport & Health Northwest, 4001 Brandywine Street, NW (Metro: Tenleytown).
Feb. 25-26: Workshops with Javier Rochwarger
Javier is a warmly intense and generous talent, one of Buenos Aires's new generation of tango dancers. Grounded, sensual, and musical, in the past 10 years he has taught classes throughout the U.S., Japan and Spain, as well as in Buenos Aires where he lives. Join us in welcoming him for his annual visit to DC. Workshop registration.
